In the world of art there's been a lot of controversial artists, but maybe none as Damien Hirst. As a result of one of his last crazy ideas, he is going to award "a free personalised spot print to the first person who sees every single one of the 11 exhibitions of spot paintings he is about to open at Gagosian galleries around the world."Some, and himself, consider him to be a Williy Wonka, like the character in Roald Dahl's book, due to his level of extravagance. To be able to visit the Complete Spot Paintings exhibition all around the world would mean such an investment that it would better be put to use in a family's bank account. Most people won't even be able to see it.
If by chance, you happen to be in a country that holds a Gagosian gallery, make sure to visit it, 'cause it may be the only one you get to visit. Unless you can afford to pay the air plane tickets to travel to the other countries that have a Gagosian gallery (so you get an idea, there is one in Geneva).
